I chose a 60-minute deep tissue massage with cupping therapy, and it was the perfect combination. It helped release toxins, improve blood circulation, and allowed me to relax fully during one of the busiest weeks of my life.
The atmosphere is incredibly calming. They provide water, the restroom is very clean and spacious, and the treatment rooms are large with perfect temperature control. The massage beds are extremely comfortable, which made the whole experience even better.
But today, I discovered the real reason I’ll be a forever client at Massage Comfy—my massage therapist, Marshal.
Marshal gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. He used mobile cupping (also called sliding cupping), which I found very effective. Before starting, he asked where I felt pain and tension. He was patient, answered all my questions, and kindly reminded me to breathe and relax whenever I tensed up.
Letting someone work on your body is a personal and sometimes vulnerable experience, and Marshal handled it with professionalism and care. He draped me properly, ensured I was comfortable with the pressure and areas being worked on, and helped build trust throughout the session. His calming voice and warm personality made it even easier to relax.
Some thoughtful touches that stood out:

Marshall facilitated an amazing deep tissue massage on me! I was here at the Mayo Clinic seeking medical care, and he attended to me with such loving presence and intentionality. He even added hot stones and a couple extra minutes to aid my particular health ailment. He provided such a safe and comforting space during an uneasy time in my life. I highly recommend him!
